Our Flake Flooring Process
Step #1 – Prepare and Repair
We mechanically prepare your concrete by diamond grinding and then inspect the concrete for damages and make the needed repairs. We then vacuum the concrete to make sure all dust and contaminants are removed to ensure proper coating adherence.
Step #2 - Apply Basecoat
We spread and layer of epoxy evenly over the surface using a squegee and roller to create a smooth even coating.
Step #3 - Broadcast, Scrape & Vacuum
Once the epoxy is applied we evenly broadcast your chosen blend of viynl flake evenly across the surface. When dry we scrape off the excess flake and vacuum to maintain a uniform texture over the floor.
Step #4 - Topcoat Application
Last but not least a topcoat is applied to provide added protection and durability.
